Jiang Yi

Mr. Jiang Yi is an academic doctor, leading figure of the Tokyo School of Painting, and President of the Japanese East Art Academy. He graduated from Wuhan University and later studied in Japan as a state-sponsored scholar. Over the past three decades, he has held numerous solo and group exhibitions across Asia, Europe, and the United States, including at the Museum of Modern Art Saitama, the National Art Museum of China, and Mitsukoshi Tokyo. His published works-such as Chinese Painting Dimension and Exploring Ancient and Modern Art by Using the Souls of Ink and Paper-reflect his significant contributions to contemporary ink and modern art.
